Currently featured in the autumn edition of Peppermint Magazine, Petra Cremming, Pomp + Splendor’s chief florist, explains how she keeps her floral studio sustainable despite the negative environmental impacts that the floral industry has today.
Sustainability is a definitely a new driving trend in the floral industry. With more and more consumers wanting local grown, organic blooms and new design trends emerging that really showcase these products, it is influencing not only florists to make the change to using sustainable products, but we are also seeing a range of great local flower farms, such as the Urban Flower Farm and Floret Flower Farm, pop up all over the world.
