Henry Hudson: Inspired By Pink

Pink has been on my mind, after chatting with friends over coffee and blush pink lisianthus I realised I don’t own a single pink item, nothing. Not even something with a little dash of pink. It gave me an idea! The floral geniuses at Flowers by Bornay have to be one of my all time favourite sources for floral inspiration. Thier innovative use of colour, materials and texture, or the texture that they create with floral materials, often leaves me overwhelmed with so many ideas and not enough time to execute them! This gorgeous arrangement is our inspiration for the week, its clean, crisp, textural and has a lovely splash of pink!

The New Flower Drum Club Baseball Tee by The Flower Drum. She’s kooky, obessed with flowers and now has an online store! Holly Hipwell of The Flower Drum has brought out a small line of floral products, including this cute shirt. So, are you team Peony or Sweet Pea?

Small Wooden Planters by Wind + Willow. I never have enough small vessels to pop cut flowers or plant little succulents in, so this would suit perfectly. Potted up with a Succulent or even a Begonia, it would make a lovely gift.

Emily Green Hobes by Emily Green. What an awesome pair of little lace ups! Pink watercolour petals are complemented by a little pop of blue. Perfect for a flower lover’s day off.

French Velvet Ribbon by Sara Kate Studios. Damn, the velvet ribbon got me again. This rose colour is beautiful and would add a special touch to any arrangement or gift. It would make a sweet hair ribbon too!

Lady of the Dead by Kelly Smith. Kelly Smith is one of my favourite illustrators, I have a few pieces of her work myself. I love this little number, it incorporates beautiful flowers and a pop of bright colour.
Have you entered our super great competition? You can win a Southern Harvest Seed Pack (with really cool varieties like Black Peony Poppies, Yellow Violets and Ornamental Grasses) and a Canon Camera and Lens Kit.
