Henry Hudson: Turquoise.

TURQUOISE! It’s a colour that I just feel like screaming from the rooftops! I have always had a soft spot for this shade of blue, it was always around in the shape of my number one pal Renee, who had (and still does have) an obsession with the colour. Today’s inspiration comes from the super talented artist, Laura Jones. Laura‘s piece, Camellias 2013, is an absolute show stopper and a great expression of how this lovely colour can accent many beautiful flowers. This piece has inspired me to find some lovely Turquoise accents, let’s splash some of this colour into your work!

Cedarwood Soy Candle by Saipua. Along with Saipua‘s lovely soaps, they have some great candles. Cedarwood has always been a favourite.

Stardust Floral Print Swimsuit by Zimmermann. It’s always summer somewhere in the world right? Zimmermann always do a killer one piece and this is no exception. Floral with a splash of Turquoise.

Glass Jar Candle Holder by Urban Outfitters. Or as I like to call it, Tiny Posy holder. I don’t seem to ever have enough small vases and jars for the leftover (and acquired) flowers and I just love this little guy.

Etoile Velvet Ribbon by Anthropologie. While I am more of a satin ribbon girl, I do have a soft spot for Velvet ribbon, and I just love this colour! Try the switch from satin to velvet with your bouquets.

Dip Pot by Pop + Scott. Pop + Scott‘s pots have done it to me again. A change from the ol’ terracotta glazed pot, these lightweight pots inject extra colour into any space. I think this pot would also look great with a Fiddle Leaf Fig. In my apartment.
